Exeter Junior School’s third Lower Two Careers Morning had an IT and computer science theme this year and was thoroughly enjoyed by pupils and staff.

Pupils experienced three activities ranging encryption to stop-motion filming.

We welcomed Emma Hupertz, Paul Turner and Emma Stannard from Cosmic, an ethical IT business, to learn about stop-motion filming.

Head of Computer Science Ms Pinches worked with pupils on encryption and discussed her tech-focused career.

PSHE Coordinator Mrs Goldsworthy involved pupils in a careers quiz looking at which skills are needed for what jobs – with prizes for everyone!

This fun event is part of Exeter School’s wider strategy for preparing pupils for their next steps and beyond.
